Please welcome our new baby! ~Adrian~ Reborn June 2, 2004 5 lbs, 1 oz. 22 inches long Little Adrian arrived on our doorstep as a 22-inch Special Edition Berenguer LaBaby doll. More than anything, she wanted a new family to love her, so we showered her with love and attention to transform her into a beautiful lifelike baby. First, Adrian was given a warm, sudsy bath to create a clean, even surface. Then she was dyed with a combination of rosy dyes carefully timed to give her skin a special ethnic tone. Her skin was blushed and shaded with oil-based colors that soak in, so they don’t require a sealant and blend into her skin tone naturally. Each crease and roll was given special attention. Every tiny part of Adrian was cared for from the tip of her button nose to the tiniest toenail. She was given hand-painted downy baby brows and delicate lashes to frame her gorgeous grey-green soft glass eyes and match her hair. Her tiny finger and toenails were shaded and given the finest of ivory tips, then double-sealed with a chip-resistant finish. Adrian’s nose was opened and backed with felt for depth. Adrian was reassembled with a jointed cloth body sewn especially for her by me. Each vinyl limb is weighted with poly pellets and sterile sand and sealed, so you can pose her in all those adorable baby ways. Her body and head are also weighted, so she will feel like a real baby in your arms. Fluffy fiberfill in the limbs and body make her snuggly soft. Adrian was given extra-special realistic baby hair. All her paint hair was removed; then soft, hand-dyed mohair was rooted strand by strand to create her realistic head of curly black hair. The hair is secured inside her head with strong, clear glue. Then Adrian's hair was sculpted to frame her sweet face, ears and neck. It can be easily styled with a mist of water or styling product and scrunched. Adrian was dressed in a disposable diaper and an adorable new fleece hooded jumper over a matching hot pink onesie and socks. We like to dress our babies in soft fabrics to enhance the snuggling experience. Adrian can wear newborn and 0-3 months clothes. Adrian has been reborn from a toy to a collectible and would be best suited for an adult or older child. Cloud 9 Nursery is a smoke-free environment.
